Day 8 Day 8 was also chosen as the WILDCARD theme, aka I-get-to-do-what-I-want-day.  This sponsor wanted BOLD COLORS so that’s what Day 8 was about. I love bold colors too, so thank you! It was a fun day! Now… do I share the rest of today’s paintings with you, or do I save them as a surprise for you to see at the Fraidy Cat Studio Post-Challenge Reception on Sunday, November 2nd from 1-3 pm, where there will be food and wine and a wall of all 125 paintings from the challenge and where anyone who has sponsored a day can pick up their paintings and trade with other sponsors or unsold works from this challenge?   Hmmmm…         I’m too nice…. Here ya go!         Hee Hee. 😉   These paintings are sold. If you are interested in works like these or you’d like to sponsor a day of my challenge and pick your own theme, click HERE or let me know using the contact form below.   Your Name (required) Your Email (required) Subject Your Message    ...

Day 7 Today was a little “sketchy.” 😉 Day 7’s sponsor happens to know I have a little drafting experience and have experimented with mingling my draftwork into my artwork in the past, so when she chose the WILDCARD theme, she asked if I would play with that idea for her. Here’s the result of my playdate with image transfer and acrylic. I’d love to hear what you think. Let me know in the comments section below.     These paintings are sold. Day 6 Welcome to WEEK 2! Day 6 paintings are sold to an anonymous sponsor (how mysterious!). I do know today was chosen in honor of a birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to someone, and thank you for sponsoring this day of my challenge.   I’m happy to be in week 2. Here is how I kicked it off in a MIXED BAG theme.     And since today’s sponsor wants to remain a mystery, I’m going to keep the  last painting of the day a mystery. Touche! 😉   If you’d like to own works like these, click HERE to find out how – it’s easy!  Or, you may use the form below to contact me. Day 4  Today the challenge got grueling, and not because of the heat here in So Cal. Not having a pre-determined theme for the day proved more challenging than I thought. It took a few self-pep-talks (by few I mean 14) and 18 canvases to get 5 works that I quite like. Here’s to persevering!      SOLD These paintings are available. If you’d like to own them, please contact me using the form below. And if you’d like to make my life easier and provide me with a theme by sponsoring a future day’s work, click HERE. Thank you!   Your Name (required) Your Email (required) Subject Your...
