Day 18 Today’s paintings were inspired by a series of BOLD COLORED ABSTRACTS I have for sale at the Cottage Gallery on Los Rios Street in San Juan Capistrano.  This is a really cool gallery located on the oldest residential street in California.  There are over 30 great artists in this gallery and if you haven’t been there, you should check it out.  Lots of wonderful art there.     These paintings are sold. If you’d like to own paintings like these please contact me using the form below. If you’d like to sponsor an upcoming day of my challenge, click here....

Day 15 Today was a WILDCARD day, and what says wild more than animal paintings? Of course my challenge wouldn’t be complete without a Fraidy Cat. The rest of this animal series will be on display Sunday, November 2nd from 1-3 pm at Fraidy Cat Studio. Here’s Syd the elephant to hold you over. 😉     Thanks for following along for another week! Have a great weekend!  ...

Day 14 Wow! 70 paintings done! Today’s sponsor chose ABSTRACT in COOL COLORS as the theme. I’ll confess I didn’t like the first 5 I painted today so I scrapped them and started over. The result is kinda cool. 😉                   You’ll be able to see the remaining two paintings in this series at the post-challenge party at Fraidy Cat Studio on Sunday, November 2nd between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. These paintings are sold. If you’d like to own paintings like these or would like to sponsor a day of my challenge (there are 6 days still available), click HERE or contact me using the form below. DAY 13 Officially passed the halfway mark today! Weehaw! Should be all downhill from here, right? I hope so because the stamina is officially being stretched! Another day of FLOWER POWER today… I had a request for purples, pinks, and whites, so my flowers are officially more monochromatic than usual. What do you think?       These paintings are officially sold. What day is it…oh yeah Day 11! Theme for the day – MIXED BAG – and it was another fun day of painting. I’m sharing one painting today because I want everyone to come to the party to see ALL the paintings on Sunday, November 2nd from 1-3 at Fraidy Cat Studio. Been working hard at getting it cleaned up and ready for the BIG REVEAL.  I hope to see you there. … and I promise to post at least two paintings tomorrow.  It’s HAPPY HOUR… cheers! 😉   Today’s paintings are sold. “The earth laughs in flowers.” Ralph Waldo Emerson Day 9 In honor of my second FLOWER POWER themed day and the fact that laughing is my favorite thing to do after painting, I thought the above quote fit the day well. Here are a few more flowers from the day. I hope they make you smile.                         These paintings are sold. If you are interested in works like these or you’d like to sponsor a day of my challenge and pick your own theme, click HERE or let me know using the contact form below. Day 8 Day 8 was also chosen as the WILDCARD theme, aka I-get-to-do-what-I-want-day.  This sponsor wanted BOLD COLORS so that’s what Day 8 was about. I love bold colors too, so thank you! It was a fun day! Now… do I share the rest of today’s paintings with you, or do I save them as a surprise for you to see at the Fraidy Cat Studio Post-Challenge Reception on Sunday, November 2nd from 1-3 pm, where there will be food and wine and a wall of all 125 paintings from the challenge and where anyone who has sponsored a day can pick up their paintings and trade with other sponsors or unsold works from this challenge?   Hmmmm…         I’m too nice…. Here ya go!         Hee Hee. 😉   These paintings are sold. Day 7 Today was a little “sketchy.” 😉 Day 7’s sponsor happens to know I have a little drafting experience and have experimented with mingling my draftwork into my artwork in the past, so when she chose the WILDCARD theme, she asked if I would play with that idea for her. Here’s the result of my playdate with image transfer and acrylic. I’d love to hear what you think. Let me know in the comments section below.     These paintings are sold.
